A large and superbly appointed contemporary attic apartment in a charming period house with some very nice original decor in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. A very well equipped kitchen (it even had table football!), a spacious sitting room with large TV and wifi and an airy bedroom with an extremely comfortable bed. There was also a large and pleasant garden available for our use. There is plenty of car parking, but if you are travelling by train or bus the train station is very close by. Vincent was the perfect host and spoke perfect English (just like having "in house" tourist information!). He suggested many places we might like to visit. The apartment is within easy walking distance of Chaumont which is a lovely town with a very relaxed ambience - highlights for us were the historic area and ornately carved church and ultra modern graphic design museum. There was, in fact, so much to do that we stayed another night!

Large apartment in large house with garden. Safe bike storage. All facilities provided. walking distance if centre and a boulangerie only 200m away for breakfast. We ate alfresco in the garden. Parking on site. About 1k from the incredible viaduct.

It is very well equipped and Vincent is the best host you can wish for, making sure you have a comfortable stay and feel at home right away. There even was a cold beer in the fridge! Communication before and upon arrival was fantastic and we even chatted a bit after I left. I'm travelling on a bicycle and was offered to securily store it in the garden shed. Highly recommended and I will definitely visit again when in the area.
