Though in a not-so pretty part of town, the neighborhood was incredibly quiet. The lodging itself was very well kept despite the age of the building, and the facilities were up-to-date. I especially appreciated the basic cooking setup with a single fry pan, pot, hot water kettle, cooking oil, and seasoning. I was free to buy whatever I wanted to cook (within reason, of course!). The owners even leave a mini convenience store, stocked with canned fish, alcohol, and tea. There were also other surprising finds, like the shower room being stocked with facial washes and other goods. There was even a small tea set in the living room! I won't tell you everything -- you'll have to discover it on your own! ☺️ Overall, the place has a retro feel and brings you back to a time long gone.
