We loved how large to accommodation is , plenty big enough for our family of 5 . it is easy to get to from Matsumoto, but check the bus timetable as they only travel up there every two hours or so . the hikes around the area are very well sign posted and the trail head is only a few minutes away from the accommodation. we loved the peace and quiet, mountain air and the view of the snow capped mountains . there are a fee places to eat but limited . we brought along breakfast , lunch and snacks and one meal for dinner . we ate out for another night for dinner . loved our stay in the mountains and north star loft was just perfect for our family !
