The bathroom is typical and very pleasant after a long walk along the Nakasendo. Very attentive welcome. Magnificent view of the mountain.

Great views off private deck overlooking river and bridge. We were not bothered by the road being so close but did see the earplugs provided just in case. Very thoughtful. It was a bit loud with traffic but host provided earplugs & I've lived on a main road before so I still slept. (Blackout curtains would be a bonus to stop car lights shining in though). We arrived on a Sunday night and all restaurants were closed or booked out but there is a well stocked 7-11 just up the road and we had a great meal from there.

The apartment was very comfortable with a fantastic view of Momosuke Bridge from the balcony. We walked 3.4 kilometres to Tsumago and enjoyed this beautiful village without tourists. Nagiso Station is 5 min away. There are frequent buses to Tsumago-Magome.

We didn’t see anyone when we arrived but we had excellent and clear communication from our host by email, so there were no problems getting in to the property, from clear instructions to get there from the station to getting the key from the lock box on site. The view of the bridge from the living room was a bonus. There is traffic noise but this was clearly told to us and we use ear plugs anyway so it was no problem.
