Wonderful patio, dreamy hammock, beautiful view, very clean. Everything you need for a fantastic stay. We loved playing cards on the patio after a later dinner at Casa Abuela. (The ceviche place across the street from there is also excellent.) Every day we took a water taxi (100 pesos) to different beaches. We stayed three nights and got to three beaches - we could have stayed another night to make it to Yelapa. We liked going towards the end of Las Animas under the shade of the palm trees, and hanging out at Charly's Bar on Playa Quimixto watching the incredible surfing. One day we hiked (45 mins) to Colomitos Beach which was shallow low waves, but pretty small in terms of footprint.

Great view. Great location. Lovely space. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch for our meals and to enjoy the sunset each night. If you don't want to prepare meals, the hotel next door has a lovely restaurant, and the grocery store is right across the street. Close to everything.

Everything about The Orchid is fantastic. From check-in to check-out, the staff, location, accommodations, restaurant, view, etc. are all top-notch. Have stayed here a couple times now and will continue coming back.
