We were travelling around Australia and NZ for almost a month and our stay at Parehua Resort in Martinborough was our No. 1 from all 15 different hotels we stayed at during our trip. We loved the whole area of the resort, the swimming pool, the tennis court, our beautifully designed, spacious apartment and the lovely staff. The place is located within a walking distance from the best wineries in Martinborough (there is also a possibility to rent a bike for 40$/day). We were lucky to witness a beautiful sunset followed by an unforgettable stargazing. It was truly sad to be leaving Parehua after just one night – we highly recommend booking at least 2-3 nights at this amazing place. Perfect for a honeymoon!

Staff were friendly. My room was fantastic, forgot that it had a loft, so nice surprise when I checked in. Great price. Would recommend. Thankfully they did inform me that Ubers will not come out that way if wanting to get into Wellington CBD. With that heads up, I was able to sort the bus, then train timetable

Staff assisted in obtaining space in heavily booked restaurant when we arrived late in the afternoon with limited transport options ( car flat tire). Room was large with excellent facilities, fire, spa bath, well equipped kitchen ( although we didn't need this). Resort assisted with travel about the area while our car was fixed. Extremely friendly and helpful.

The location is great albeit you definately need those ear plugs that the host supplies for in the evenings. It would have been nice to be provided with some milk in the fridge for coffee given you provide a jug and coffee etc. Otherwise, this is such a gem and we'll most definately be back.
