Everything about the property was superb. The absolute water frontage was amazing, lots of little details such as complimentary chocolates in the fridge, nespresso pods were made available for use with the nespresso machine, cleanliness was exceptional and accessibility to convenience stores and food was excellent for us.

Location was awesome. Ferry does work all day next door but we liked it as there was always something going on. Can fish straight off the deck and catch! Clean and tidy. Will be back but will probably stay at the apartment a bit more and enjoy the bay.

Lovely location up on a hilltop, great views, a warm and dry apartment. A 20 min walk to Opua and convenient for the ferry to Russell.

Such an awesome home away from home. We loved the breakfast provided, especially the home grown eggs! The games, the books, the cosy beds, everything was great. We also really enjoyed walking down to the cycle pathway and heading down to the Opua marina. Fabulous holiday. Thank you.

Loved it! Beautiful home! Good communication with host! Great to have a washer/dryer. A great start to our vacation on the North Island! Excellent location to get to Cape Reinga and Tane Mahuta! Sorry we had to leave, but travels beckoned us onward.

Everything! The accommodation is perfect in a superb location overlooking the bay. It is Immaculately clean and well furnished, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Basic essentials were provided as well as breakfast cereal, milk, tea & coffee, biscuits and even a bottle of wine. Murray & Pam are the perfect hosts and were on hand with tips/advice during our stay. It's a great base for exploring the Bay of Islands, Paihia itself is a lovely little town, we took the car ferry to Russell and a boat trip from Paihia to the hole in the rock and went to Kerikeri to see the waterfalls. It really is the perfect place if you just want to chill out; we loved watching the sun come up each morning; a stunning view.
