Amazing apartment nestled in the forest near Punakaiki. Bed and kitchen facilities were excellent. Handy to have free laundry available. Magical glass conservatory room on top floor giving lovely views of the forest, ocean in the distance, and stars at night.

The Lockwood style construction suits the environment, nice comfy place for an overnight stay. Kitchenette has all you need. Beautiful little shared terrace with the most enchanting view on the beach to enjoy sunset and sunrise (using the right amount of sandfly repellent)

And really enjoyed this delightful getaway. This was our first trip to NZ. We'll definitely book for a longer stay next time.

Very quiet, though few guests about due to Covid. Kitchen equipped adequately. We were unable to get through storm damaged roads for our initial booking and the Motel was happy to amend the dates. Standard of service was excellent and the unit was very clean.
