I loved my stay here. The pictures are exactly how the rooms are- spacious, comfy bed and cute outdoor seating space. Having read the comments about cleaning of the rooms, I think they have been listened to as my room was cleaned daily and done well. The pool gets loads of leaves in it from the surrounding trees but there’s a young man who spends all day cleaning this and the grounds in general. I did not (like previous people) see any frogs at the pool and saw it being cleaned regularly. There is a little bit of noise on the weekend from the night market but nothing that would stop me from staying again. The beach is walking distance, as is the night market. There’s a super cute kitten who makes an appearance every other day - please do feed her if you stay here. She’s tiny and very playful so I hope those who come after me make sure she is fed. If you stay here ( or don’t ) you have to go to paper moon for food ( it’s a 1 min walk). It’s fab. Great value and delicious. I’m working my way through the menu 😂. I 100% would stay here again.

Really enjoyed my stay at Aussieland, Mo, and Jeff are the nicest people and always there to assist you. The staff are all so courteous and discreet.  The bungalow was fantastic, safe, secure, clean, well designed, fully equipped with air-conditioning, fans, kitchenette, and seating area inside and lovely area to relax outside. Surrounded by water and beautiful plants , it creates a real sense of peacefulness away from the bustling town of Lamai. It perfectly suited my needs.  It also has a fully cosy bar and plunge pool too. Situated 5 mins walk from shops, restaurants and about 10min walk to the beach.  Great place to stay for solo travellers, family, and couples alike.

The location has almost everything available within walking distance, restaurants for late night dining, hair and nail salons, massage parlors, fresh juice smoothies and vehicle rentals across the way. Laundromat and a 7-11 just a few minutes away.. and lamai beach. The room is bigger than most places available for roughly the same price. With an electric stove top, dishes, toiletries along with blow dryer. A/C works very well, and you also have a regular fan to stay cool. Overall a top choice.
