Rainbow Gokkusagi is the best place to stay at in Ayder! We give this place our highest recommendation. In terms of the place, it is at a great location in central Ayder. Despite being in the center of Ayder, by being the second line of houses it is quieter than on the main street. The rooms are extremely clean and pleasant. They are made of wood and provide a cozy atmosphere. There is a small, but highly functioning kitchen with a table. It also had a stove, pans, and cups. The beds were comfortable, and there are extra blankets if you feel cold even with the thick duvets. The one thing to note is that in the room we stayed in there was a staircase from the living room up to the bedrooms. It shouldn’t be a problem for most people, but if you are older you might want to give the stairs a thought or ask for one without. Besides the cozy place, the biggest advantage of this motel above others is the manager – Timur. Timur is the kindest person we have met during our travels. Any time during the day or night he was happy to help in any way possible. He called the taxi to make sure it arrived on time, recommended activities (such as rafting), made sure you get a discount, helped you purchase specific souvenirs you may have wanted, just to name a few. In addition, he always makes sure you pay the right price. For example, our drive to Ayder was much more expensive than the price than our way back with Timur’s help, and was also in a bigger, more comfortable, car. While we went on a trek in the Kackar Mountains, he kept our bigger bags safe for no added price. He does all this out of genuine heart and sincere care for his guests. He goes out of his to make you feel at home. Timur is unique and special. Timur, we cannot thank you enough for making our stay perfect!!! You will stay in our hearts. If you are looking not only for a place to sleep but a warm home in the mountains, we wholeheartedly suggest Timur and Rainbow Gokkusagi.

I have been to many places in my life, but this is a place I will never forget. It is a magnificent place where we can feel at home with the most beautiful view, nature and fresh air of the Black Sea. The host is very caring and respectful. He was with us when we went to the villa and when we needed anything. It was a great feeling to get into the jacuzzi against the mountain view and in the rain, me and my family had an incredible time, we didn't want to leave the house. The breakfast was also very good. If you want a relaxing holiday away from the chaos and noise, this is definitely the right place.

Location is great, small river direct next to the apart, can see it from the window. Like an old cottage. Small open kitchen with most used things available. I suggest it for a maximum of 4 people.

They used to offer to drop us off wherever and whenever we wanted.
