Perfect, peaceful location on this horse ranch. Lovely rolling hills and walks in the meadow beside a river. The accommodation was large for the two of us and had the best equipped kitchen and white goods we have ever stayed in. Really enjoyed our stay here.

The location was perfect. About halfway between Boone and Blowing Rock. It was a spacious, yet cozy apartment. The view off the back porch is stunning.

We had a lovely stay at the Upscale Rustic retreat. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the barn and the stream. And the proximity to hiking trails and Bass Lake. The location was awesome, so easy to go into Blowing Rock or Boone. Emily as a hostess was always available. She replied by texts to any questions we had , and texted us mid week to make sure all was well and we didn’t need anything. We had a wonderful time! We will be back!

This was a fabulous place. The location with covered parking made it very easy to walk throughout the town. The place was beautifully decorated with all necessities available. The balcony, large living area, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds made for a wonderful experience!
