Ahmed and his brother Mohamed made the stay very convenient. Breakfast was delicious, and the bed was comfortable. They recommended nearby restaurants and even took us to one on the first night, and helped arrange baggage transfer to a taxi on our last night after we checked out.

Situated just 5.2 km from Colossi of Memnon, Blue Nile House features accommodation in Luxor with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. In November/December we stayed three weeks in the beautiful Blue Nile House in a great apartment: spacious, clean, with three balconies and great views over grasslands, corn and rice fields, and the river Nile. Our host, Sayed, and his team are very kind and most helpful. The daily breakfast under the beach umbrella near the swimming pool was something to look forward to every morning. For dinner there was a varied menu of delicious Egyptian meals to choose from. The somewhat remote location of the hotel (distance to the ferry is 2,8 km) guarantees a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. There are several possibilities to visit the ancient Egyptians monuments. Sayed can arrange for taxis and excursions by car, and there are lots of tuktuks on the road. We hired two bikes for three weeks at Mohammed Satohe’s ‘Bicycles for hire’ in the village to visit the Valley of the Kings, the temples and tombs on the West Bank, following good Dutch tradition. We highly recommend Blue Nile House, for it is the perfect place to stay on the West Bank of Luxor. Thank you Sayed, Abdellah, Ahmed, and Karim for these wonderful three weeks! Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of quiet street, CASA LOKO Guest House is located in Luxor, 3.2 km from Medinet Habu Temple. My husband and I enjoyed very much our stay. We definitely recommend it to everyone. *The place has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. *They offer food from a close by restaurant and it is delicious. *The pool is well keep and it is great for relaxing. *The location is the perfect middle point to everything (Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens is 10-15 minutes drive. Within 15 minutes walk you get to the harbor where you can cross by boat directly to Luxor temple or Karnak Temple). We both felt extremely welcome. Mahmoud, Mohammed and Ibrahim were amazing hosts, they speak good English and are very kind. Casa Loko can also arrange different tours for you.

Nojatuoli, jossa jalkatuki. Pieni keittiö astioineen, jääkaappi ja pesukone. Ilmastointi molemmissa makuuhuoneissa ja olohuoneessa. Ilman niitä ei olisi kauheasta helteestä (45 astetta) selvinnytkään. Siisti piha ja rappukäytävä. Pihakatu lukkojen takana, joten ylimääräiset pysyvät ulkopuolella. Uima-allas oli riittävän iso myös kuntoilu-uintiin. Uimavahti oli suurimmaksi osaksi paikalla. Erittäin hiljainen talo, ei kuultu juurikaan ääniä mistään. Asunnon vieressä iso market, jossa liha- ja juustotiski ja kaikki tarvittava. Pankkiautomaatti samassa yhteydessä. Sängyt kovahkot suomalaiseen makuun, tyynyt normaalit 50 x 70 cm. Paksu peitto myös talvikuukausille. Hissi talossa. Kunnon hissi, ei mikään hirvitys, mitä yleensä. Ilmainen kuljetus lentokentältä. Isäntä jätti rauhaan, eikä ollut kyselemässä mitään. Apua sai tarvittaessa lähettämällä whatsapp-viestin. Tästä asunnosta saat varmasti hyvän fiiliksen. Hintakin todella edullinen. Niin edullinen, etten edes uskonut kuvauksia ja muiden kehuja. Mutta pakko oli uskoa, kun itse näki paikan. Suosittelen lämpimästi. Todella ihana paikka ja oltaisiin jääty pidempään, jos ei olisi ollut varattu. Vietimme täällä viisi ihanaa päivää perheen kanssa. Niin joo, ja Luxorissa kannattaa taksia varten käyttää InDrive-appia. Sillä saa järkevään hintaan taksin ilman taistelua ja väittelyä hinnoista. Huomaa, että taksi maksetaan kuitenkin käteisellä. (Kairossa toimi myös Uber, joka on taivaan lahja niille, jotka ovat kyllästyneet väittelemään hinnoista kuskien kanssa)

The room was spacious and clean. very modern. very quiet area. Wish we weren’t just passing through for a day. I wanted to stay longer. 100% recommend! great value for money!

Everything was perfect and the place is very well maintained and safe. Mohammed is awesome and he helped me a lot with everything. I had a brief conversation with owner and he was really responsive and caring for our needs.

3.1 km from Luxor Museum, Karnak Flats is a recently renovated property situated in Luxor and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Very nice and huge appartment well located near Karnak temples. The host is very nice and the flat confortable and clean with all the convienience

Ahmed is an incredible host that made us feel at home from the second we arrived, and chef Hassan is a super star. The place is just awesome .. breathtaking views & perfect location to experience Luxor.
