The property offers garden views. - Ammar is a gem of a person who went out of his way to make my stay at aswan comfortable. - the elevator at this apartment is godsend for people like me with mobility issues … - customer service - the elevator at another hotel where I had booked previously had broken down, so Ammar came to pick me up from where I was late at night, met me with a happy smile, calmed me and even got some dinner for me. - the studio looks just as in the pics. Spotlessly clean with all amenities. Caveat - the building is a bit run down but that s the case all over Egypt so not the owner’s fault. That is also why the price is economical and it is fabulous value for money. - laundry is there - Ammar helped do my laundry and there is a dryer as well so you get your clothes clean and dry. - it felt like staying at a dear friend s home and Ammar also offered help with organising tours.

The location is superb with a short walk to Abu Simbel. I can’t recommend enough staying at least 1 night in Abu Simbel and staying at Erki house! Ahmed is the definition of a great host and will go above and beyond to make sure you have an easy stay. I recommend letting him know what your plans are and he will help you with anything you need. Ahmed got me ticket to light/sound show and day ticket next day for Abu Simbel at same cost if you walk up to window but without hassle of purchasing one at temples. Erki house is spacious, clean and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning that is offered is authentic Egyptian made by his mom. I will be coming back to Erki house when I return to Egypt for sure! For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. The place is great if you want to visit temple early in the morning, location is 3 minutes drive from the site. Owner is nice, responsif and helpfull. He is really thinking od what you may need: fresh water, soft drinks, a welcome cookie, slippers if bathroom floor is vet and even a hair drier :)

The nearest airport is Abu Simbel Airport, 2 km from the apartment. Very well furnished and comfortable apartment. Per our request, we were provided with a stove and cooking utensils. 1 km from the Abu Simbel temple. We had our car and driver for the overnight stay, so it was easy to make the trip to the temple in the evening for the sound and light show (besides the morning visit ). Market with groceries and vegetables was about a 500 meter walk. Featuring a terrace and views of sea, Abu simbel Nubian Guest House is a recently renovated apartment located in Abu Simbel, 1.6 km from Abu Simbel Temples. The property features lake and garden views. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. It was great! Clean and comfortable. We were 3 people and the apartment was huge for us. Complementary water and soft drinks included and a beautiful souvenir as part of our farewell. A few minutes walk from a good restaurant and the temple.

Every time of the day was available for us via WhatsApp about how to get everywhere and tips to do. The apartment was very clean! Shop located immediately next door for most necessities.
