Featuring river views, Unique studio provides accommodation with a balcony, around 24 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum. - Ammar is a gem of a person who went out of his way to make my stay at aswan comfortable. - the elevator at this apartment is godsend for people like me with mobility issues … - customer service - the elevator at another hotel where I had booked previously had broken down, so Ammar came to pick me up from where I was late at night, met me with a happy smile, calmed me and even got some dinner for me. - the studio looks just as in the pics. Spotlessly clean with all amenities. Caveat - the building is a bit run down but that s the case all over Egypt so not the owner’s fault. That is also why the price is economical and it is fabulous value for money. - laundry is there - Ammar helped do my laundry and there is a dryer as well so you get your clothes clean and dry. - it felt like staying at a dear friend s home and Ammar also offered help with organising tours.

Big and clean apartment with a comfy bed. The owner Ahmed is a lovely and helpful person. He booked everything we needed for our stay in Abu Simbel (temples, light show, French tour guide). Do not hesitate to have dinner onsite because the meal prepared by his mother was just delicious!

I was happy staying here for 2 days. The house was clean and quiet, and the dishes in the kitchen were clean and well-equipped with a gas stove. And the hosts, Hassan and Ahmet, were kind and friendly. Whenever I had questions or needed help, I got answers right away. They picked me up at the bus terminal, gave me a ride to the terminal when I left, and helped me buy a bus ticket to Aswan. He even helped me get some beer. (There are no stores that sell alcohol in Abu Simbel. Some large hotel bars sell alcohol, but it is quite expensive.) It's not like a hotel and it is located in a local area. That's why I liked the house more.

Ramada is a very good host, he is very kind and helpful. The place is very clean and big. He arrange the night show and morning visit in Abu simbel temple, also give suggestion when back to Aswan. He also be our driver drive us back to Aswan, very very nice. Highly recommend this place, and for sure with stay longer next time.

Situata ad Assuan, a 800 m dal Mausoleo di Aga Khan, la Somony Guest House offre sistemazioni fronte spiaggia, un ristorante, una sala comune e un giardino. It was a great stay. The host is friendly, the place is very clean, and the location in the middle of Elephantine Island is amazing.

La Green Nubian House sorge ad Assuan, a 23 km dal Mausoleo dell'Aga Khan e a 600 m dall'Isola di Kitchener, in una zona ideale per le escursioni a piedi. The location of the apartment is right on the Nile river with a great view and everything was homey and rustic. Its really great value for money. Hegazy the host and his father was really attentive to all our needs and never bothered us during our stay.

It was a very clean and nice stay. The owner was friendly and helpful as she got us a tour at 10pm to go Abu sunbelt next morning. Tasty breakfast. I would definitely come back.

Situato a 23 km dal Mausoleo di Aga Khan. L'Awi Guest House offre un bar, una sala comune e sistemazioni climatizzate con patio e connessione WiFi gratuita. È stato un vero piacere poter trascorrere il nostro soggiorno ad Aswan qui al guesthouse di Awi. Inizialmente orientati a esplorare la zona in una delle tipiche crociere sul fiume, abbiamo poi deciso di avventurarci autonomamente e l'aiuto di Awi nell'organizzare gli spostamenti anche con poco preavviso nonostante l' alta stagione è stato cruciale. Grazie alla posizione del guesthouse non abbiamo rinunciato alla sensazione paradisiaca di svegliarsi sulle sponde del Nilo. L'isola Elefantina è molto bene collegata alla terraferma, con il servizio navetta frequente a 10 EGP a persona a tratta. Trovare l'alloggio è stato facile grazie alla disponibilità di Awi che ci ha incontrati al porticciolo e traghettato al suo molo privato dal quale si ha una splendida vista sul fiume e sulla città. A un minuto a piedi dall'alloggio troverete il porticciolo pubblico cosi come un mini market essenziale (indicato per acquistare acqua e qualche snack) e un paio di ristoranti carini. Il capodanno al vicino Nubian Dreams è stato davvero speciale (servono anche la birra). In generale sull'isola si respira un'aria di familiarità e ci siamo sentiti davvero a nostro agio. Il gattino di Awi ci manca tutti i giorni speriamo di tornare presto!
