Set in Yokohama, 1.7 km from Yokohama Marine Tower and less than 1 km from the centre, Oakwood Suites Yokohama offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a fitness centre. We were pleasantly surprised about how complete the room amenities were. They put in a lot of thought in what one may need during a typical stay - from complete dinnerware with dishwashing soap & sponge to coat deodorizers and room humidifiers. Our room didn’t have a bathtub but the shower was a shower temple (with side jets) - definitely just as relaxing and something we haven’t encountered anywhere else. The room was very clean and check in was a breeze. Getting around was very easy as we were right next to the Bashamichi station (and if you prefer traveling by bus, there’s a station right in front). For breakfast, we purchased some items from the mini supermarket downstairs or went to Starbucks. There are a couple of restaurants beside the property accessible via escalator downstairs. Staff were very helpful too especially when we asked help to book a taxi to the Shinkansen station (with small luggage on hand). on the day of our departure, they held on to our bags while we did some last minute sightseeing and had them ready the minute we arrived.

The 24-hour fitness room and spacious, comfortable accommodations made it perfect for our family with a toddler.

Close to a local train to start your commute to Yokohama or Tokyo (though Tokyo is probably 1.5 hours). Great room. Small town vibe. Great host who was very helpful. Comfortable bed.

In the Hakone Yumoto Onsen district of Hakone, close to Hakone-Yumoto Station, HAKO REIRO 箱・玲瓏 features barbecue facilities and a washing machine. This was the best accommodation during our Japan-Trip. Everything is so beautifully designed, the hosts must be very keen on design. It‘s closed to the city center so you can easily stroll around the town. It was very clean. The Appartement has a welcoming, warmhearted atmosphere and is stylish at the same time. I wish the host my very best for the future! If we will return for a Japan-Trip Hakone and HAKO REIRO are on our bucket list. Thank you especially for the games, we appreciated them very much.
