The owner is incredibly kind and friendly, he helped us with our travels. and provided a lot of information- made our stay in Sri Lanka even better. We cannot say enough about the hosts and this property! The hosts (Tissa and his family) were caring, attentive, and warm. We ordered breakfast each morning and it exceeded our expectations. The hosts offer a variety of services that we did not take advantage of (such as scooter rentals). We did book a massage and were happy with the process and service. The property is a private cottage down a steep slope with an incredible view and only a short walk (10 minutes depending on your pace) from the shops and restaurants in Ella. We enjoyed the sounds of nature rather than the town--perfect!! Due to its location, it is not accessible for everyone. In that case, consider the hosts other property up on the road Tree Cool.

The view from the room (from inside and from the terrace) was fantastic and the room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Hot water included. The host was very attentive and service-oriented There is only one cottage and this is a local entrepreneurship located in the village surrounded by local life but close to Ella (5min ride rickshaw) Breakfast was abundant and the host accommodated to our preferred breakfast time after going to Ella's rock

He shared good tips on where to eat and get laundry done, became our tuk tuk driver while we were in Ella and offered a lovely breakfast service for a small extra charge. The view is so gorgeous and he helped carry our backpacks up to the room.
