The family owning the cottage was very kind and even picked us up in town and brought us to the train station by Tuktuk. We had delicious breakfast and dinner and the view from the room was simply stunning. I would highly recommend going to this place! :)

Ice Age Cottage is situated in Ella, 45 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden, 46 km from Horton Plains National Park, and 3 km from Ella Railway Station. The owner was very helpful and communicative before we got to the property. He picked us up from the train station late at night, and arranged transportation for us after eating dinner back to the property. The location is a little bit outside of the main town area which was good for us, nice and quiet at night. Every morning we got a huge breakfast made by the owner which was customizable depending on your own taste. He can help book drivers to different spots around the area. Good value for the money.

Offering garden views, The Creek Villa ella is an accommodation set in Ella, 49 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden and 1.2 km from Ella Spice Garden. Susan was really welcoming and friendly. He shared good tips on where to eat and get laundry done, became our tuk tuk driver while we were in Ella and offered a lovely breakfast service for a small extra charge. The view is so gorgeous and he helped carry our backpacks up to the room.
