An excellent choice if you're passing through this sweet town. The apartment feels spacious, and it offers free parking directly outside. It isn't intuitive to find (which side of the building to enter, which door to use, which floor to go to, which key fits into which door...so ask the host for clear and specific details) but you're rewarded when you make it! The fixtures are new, the bed is comfortable, the wifi is fast and the sauna is outstanding and the host was very quick to respond for any questions we had (including how to work the sauna). There were some items in the kitchen that could have benefitted from a more thorough clean, but generally this is an excellent choice and definitely a comfortable and enjoyable night's stay.

Cheerful place. Comfortable sitting space, kitchen table with chairs. Many mirrors. Comfortable bed and light-blocking drapes for sound sleep. Has huge TV (which we didn't use). Excellent secure internet! Note to travelers from USA: this is Latvia. Think of US amenities circa 1950. No microwave. Single burner hotplate with many good pans, a great hot water/tea kettle. Small dorm-size fridge works well, keeps food nice and cold. To use the washing machine, twist the water valve under the sink to horizontal position. To shower, twist to vertical. Also remember that utilities are very expensive in Latvia; it is a kindness to your host to conserve.
