Situated in Diass, 47 km from Golf Club de Dakar - Technopole and 20 km from Popenguine Natural Reserve, Studio meublé offers air conditioning. The property was so close to the airport and took 5 mins from the arrivals. It’s only 2.5 miles whereas the next closest hotel it’s 12 miles away (over 40 mins driving). Mark was so responsive on WhatsApp and helpful to get everything arranged. He even has a go-to taxi driver who is inexpensive and so helpful. The place itself is more or less minimal but has everything you need if you need to be right by the airport for a flight. I initially also was nervous about the area as it seemed on Google maps to be very empty and not have anything nearby. However, a small village has started around it and I felt very safe. Also there is a police station next door. Lastly, Mark has so many doors with 2-3 locks that make you feel very secure.

The apartment is spacy with a big living room and balcony. It has also kitchen and fridge, which is not common for accomodations in Senegal. The garden and the swimming pool were highly appreciated by our kids. There is a small shop and good and cheep fast food/restaurant next to the house. The owner are very nice and welcome. They speak English, French and Italian. They live in the house and it will not be a problem to arrive late in the evening.

Keur Karim sarr chambre d hôtes is a beachfront property located in Mbour, 600 metres from Mbour Beach and 11 km from Golf De Saly. Cleanest place in my trip to Senegal. Karim and her wife were very kind and helpful all the time. I showed up 3 days before of my booking and they prepared a room to allow me to stay that same night at no extra cost. He brought me to Sally in his car on his way to work next day and she cooked a meal for me and washed my cloths at a reasonable price during my stay. They did care of me all the time while in the house and even invite me to milk and biscuits for dinner one night. The rest of the family was also kind and helpful. Nice terrace and quite area close to the beach in the south of M'bour. Good wifi.
