Elizabeth was so helpful she made our entire trip to Chalten. We stayed at Mi Rincon the first night we arrived in Chalten before starting our hike. We had planned a 3-day/2-night trek to see the major sites around Chalten and when we arrived Elizabeth went through the entire advanced weather forecast with the paid satellite weather website she uses for the area. There was some rain expected during our trek so she helped us adjust the route to better line up our times at the major sites with the highest chances of good weather. It made a huge difference, we were able to coordinate the rainy times with less interesting hikes and used the good weathe windows to hit Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. She also stored an extra suitcase for us after we checked out for the duration of our hike. Thanks Elizabeth we owe you for some great photos we got out of it!

The price per night is a bit off-putting, but I'm so glad we splurged on this one night of our trip! The landscape in Los Huemules estancia makes for an incredible hike to and from the refuge, so a day trip for lunch would be totally worth it on its own, but getting to spend the night in such a beautiful setting in the cosiest of refuges was such a treat. Even in cloudy weather the view to the lagoon and glacier was spectacular, and getting to enjoy it inside with a warm drink and a book next to the fire was heaven. We also had some of the best meals of our trip here, with special mention to Marco's sourdough bread! Thank you for an unforgettable stay 🙏

Helped me store my luggage for 3 days while I went hiking, despite me not coming back there afterwards (if only... it was full)

The accommodation is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The shower is very good: big enough, sufficient and constant water pressure and the water drains well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for eating and cooking, it even has 2 sinks. However, there is no oven. The room has a good size for 2 people.
