This place has it all. Location (on the town square and 100 meters from the railroad dock), clean/spacious/well appointed rooms(totally remodeled in 2020). But the best part was our host, Tom. He was incredibly cordial and accommodating. And his quaint bar is very comfortable and appears to be the the locals hangout. If you are lucky enough to get a room at I da Mitt, you're in for a real treat!

Really nice hotel with fantastic services. It's traditional home decorating style in the middle of Hallstatt Location. Good facilities preparations. Really recommend for traveler.

Pension is on a fantastic location, just in the middle of the town. It's on the lake level, so easy to reach from everywhere. Few steps away from the center, close to every single shop and restaurants. Wooden interior design is very cute and beautiful, providing the local lakeside/mountain house vibes. There was a small kitchen in the room, even though I don't cook, it was a huge plus. Also there are additional tea and coffee counters on the hallway. Tamara is a wonderful host, she was extremely helpful for any information about Hallstatt, all her restaurant suggestions turned out to be great! Lovely host for the loveliest place. Plus they have a nice breakfast/cafe place on the lakeside south of town which is wonderful for seeing the town in a panoramic view. Pension has a lift so it is perfect for elders and for those who are having problems with stairs or elevations. (but be aware there is a small 1 step stair on the floors)

Wow! This is a real gem in Hallstatt. The rooms and bathrooms are super clean, all the facilities what we needed are just there, the area is very quite. The owner and staffs are so nice and kind. The breakfast is good. The location is also very good, near from salt mine and walking distance from center. We highly recommend !!
