We have been in Australia for a month and stayed in at least 19 or 20 hotels while traveling. This was the best hotel. It is in a peacefully, secluded location. We hung out with kangaroos behind the pond. The camp kitchen was awesome, fruit, yogurt, bread and cereal were available besides coffee and tea.

I really loved it here. Everything was clean, well-equipped and the house & terrace had such a cosy/homely feel to it. Also probably the best bunk bed I’ve slept in so far. James was a wonderful host too, went out of his way to make sure I had a good time. Can’t recommend this place enough

Great location - a short walk from the beach and very nearby to the local shops and restaurants. Our private room was comfortable and had air con. The hostel chef cooks cheap dinners each night - we never took part but I thought it was a nice touch. Good social events each night. The staff are great and the guests are friendly. Lovely relaxed vibe. We felt right at home.

Although it was a privately owned apartment that meant we had no contact with resort staff, it was a simple check in process with easy to understand instructions.

It was quiet and away from the tourist crowd. It lived up to the name Birdsong Ridge with wonderful variety of birdcalls in the early morning. Some friendly kangaroos came by to nibble the grass. The flouro light was good and bright and suitable for artwork in the evening. The wi fi was good and the TV had good subscription services.
