The room appears to be have been recently updated. It was also clean, tidy and quiet. House keeping staff kept it clean and tidy throughout the stay. Parking was easy and readily available. The location was within walking distance (about 10 minutes walk) to Eastern Beach, Geelong Botanic Garden and the city centre.

Set in a most beautiful location, quiet and homely, but contemporary and ultra modern with plenty of 'private' parking. Very comfortable and scrupulously clean. The bar and restaurant were a bonus, even though I was alone I felt comfortable. Breakfast was very good and included in the cost. Easy access to Geelong, an easy walk through the botanic gardens, full of birdsong, to the beach and a scenic route into the centre.

Private & quiet location. Good carparking. Comfortable for what we required. Just enough essentials for us to cook a basic meal. Great location & walking distance to cafe’s & shops. Walking distance to the river & train station for those who are fit.

I really enjoyed my stay at Anchor. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the facilities were in working order (TV, dishwasher, microwave). I found that it was pretty quiet and in a great location near the Geelong city centre, so I had no issues travelling to the beach or to the shops. I didn't have any troubles during my stay and found the room to be the perfect size for me! I would stay here again 100%.

Closer to city centre, but very quiet. Very tasteful decor. Bed great, couch terrific for a TV AO binge on a January evening (after dinner, well positioned table Deb). Owner delightful. I stayed here when they first opened, and was not disappointed second time around. A bit of luxury bliss. Good blackouts to make a dark room.

Great location - quiet and within easy walking distance to the city centre. Double glazed windows with fly screens if you want to feel the air but not deal with the bugs. Super comfortable bed. Really easy check-in and out.
