It was a Robinson Crusoe experience, although with airco and wifi. There is not much to do except beach life, scubadiving or trekking though the tropical forest and hills. Owner Luciana (speaks English well) and her staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Get a room with sea view, it's worth it. You can pay by debit card everywhere on the island. There are no ATM's.

The whole team was so friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. Our stay could not have been better, they gave us tips on tours and places to visit. The place itself is spectacular with a beautiful peer and beautiful nature (with lots of fishes and seaturtles nearby). The room was comfy and the food (we ate breakfast and dinner there) was very good. Thanks for the nice holiday. :)

Una vacanza da sogno. L’attenzione ricevuta è stata eccellente, Maria Luiza è molto disponibile e lei e suo marito fanno di tutto per farti sentire in casa. Anche Simone è stata molto gentile ed affettuosa, il Team è fantastico. Ci siamo sentiti molto comodi in questo ambiente familiare. Spiagge da sogno, molo privato da cui poter entrare in acqua a pochi passi dalla stanza e la zona comune. Abbiamo persino nuotato con una tartaruga! È stata un'esperienza unica. È un luogo pulito, sicuro, tranquillo. La colazione è molto buona e assortita. Si trova in un posto perfetto non distante da varie spiagge e qualche ristorante, ma allo stesso tempo offre privacy e silenzio. Un posto perfetto per riposare.

Even before I had arrived on Ilha Grande, Fernanda would always help me out with any questions I had regarding the island, with the boats and tours etc. She picked me up from the pier and from the first second on I felt happy - the room was filled with light and had an amazing view from the balcony with the hammock. It was very clean and towels etc were provides, which were changed on a regular basis! :) And: the breakfast - oh it was fabulous. There was fresh fruit, cakes, scrambled eggs, coffee, freshly squeezed juices, different kinds of bread, jam, cream cheese, butter, good coffee, joghurt and cereals - she even made me tapioca on the last day (delicious!). It was always enough to keep me full until dinner (food is very expensive on the island!). Thank you, Fernanda, you were an amazing host :)
