The backyard was lovely and so quiet. It was great to be able to charge our EV while we were there as well. It was a great location, close to all amenities you would need. Any communication between us and the host was super quick.

There may be a lot of steps to Hummingbird but it has easy access to the hot tub which was the most amazing hot tub I have ever used. Lots of food for breakfast especially fruit and good coffee and tea. The room was quiet and private with a large bathroom. Found Route 14 in Sooke had an excellent menu for evening meal. Would absolutely stay here again.
