First of all, the view from our room was amazing. It overlooks the lake. Furthermore, the owners were so nice and welcoming. They preapared an amazing breakfast for us, after which we talked to the owner for more than 30 minutes and he was so nice and offered good advice for our trip.

The owner allowed us to use his washing machine and his tumble dryer. For breakfast there was one boiled egg per person, a glass of orange juice and a glass of water. Also 1 croissant per person and a small slice of cake. I wasn't really expecting a very big breakfast to get in this place. The owner was really nice and offered help despite he didn't speak English and had to use a Google translator. There was free parking available.

The street that separates the main hotel (Art Hotel) and the apartments, has a direct bus connection to Ascona and Locarno. It was very quiet and picturesque place to walk or simply to sit at the balcony and soak in the view. Additionally the hotel Kayak and Canoes are free for hotel guests, perfect for summer days.
