Warm and nice staff, food is great, awesome window view, spacious room, location (there's a bus stop in the neighboring hotel just a stone's throw away, or you could go down the main road for just a few minutes), option of a shuttle to and from the train station (just for 10 chf which can save you from the hassle of carrying your luggage)

The location is perfect, a bit away from the business of Grindelwald, easily accessible with bus, or 20 min walk from the station. The view from the room was stunning, and the location of the kitchen terrass facing the mountains was really cool. The breakfast was modest, but still keeps you full. The dinner that is offered in the restaurant at night was very tasty and with a good price in comparison to other restaurants down the street. If you want to save some money on food, there is a supermarket close to the central station, and in a common room in the basement of the hostel is a microwave and kettle with plates/cutlery that can be used by the guests. Didn't know about it my first day, but it was useful for the rest of my stay. I was traveling with a dog so I had a room for myself with beds and a sink. Bathroom and shower are separate outside the room. For me it was a first time experience not having a bathroom in the room, but it was no problems with cleanliness or having to wait for it to be free. All worked perfectly and I was surprised how few guests I actually saw. In the surrounding areas there are so many things to discover and amazing hikes, I wish I had more days to spend in this area. All the staff were very friendly and provided good service.

The service was very generous. It was really welcoming. They let us use the MW and make tea and coffee for no charge. Really felt like home.

Great location, right in the city center, our room had a balcony with a great view on the mountains. Great alpine vibe in the room

Breakfast was delicious, complete with fruits, a selection of yoghurt, delicious breads. The view from the balcony is perfect, with a full view of the Eiger and the canyon. We could see the entrance to the Firstbahn from the breakfast room. The staff was amazing, Helena in particular was very helpful. The decoration is simple and elegant, especially the style on the sheets, curtains, and towels. There are some skulls in the walls from hunted animals which may be creepy or sad to some.

最高のロケーション。駅のすぐ近く、アイガーの麓から山頂まで何も遮るものは無く、部屋のバルコニーからの景色最高だった。周辺のホテルの中で1番ではないでしょうか。 部屋も広く、バスタブも有り、広く落ち着いた朝食会場大変快適でした。

天候の都合で早出をしたかったのに合わせて、30分早く朝食を始めさせてくれた。朝食はテラス席では素晴らしい景色を味わいながらおいしくできます。宿主の対応が良く、ひょうきんで日本語も少し話してくれた。

Wataru 日本

駅、スーパーマーケットそしてゴンドラ乗り場が近い。 観光から帰ってホットする場所です。 車の乗り入れ禁止なので静かで安全です。 バルコニーからユングフラウを眺めながら飲むビールは最高。
