Guesthouse by the rex rooms are bright and have simple furnishings. They are heated, and come equipped with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Some rooms include views of the Matterhorn.

The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, and took time to explain all the facilities and services very well. The room was also very cute and perfect for a couple with a view of the Matterhorn. Beds were also very comfortable.

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Great location in a quieter part of the village. Good kitchen facilities and a great shower! There was plenty of space and storage and having two sofas was a bonus! Not a great view and felt a bit surrounded by other apartments but we’ve had worse.

Great location. Big rooms with heated floors and heated towel rails. Great after a cold day. View from the huge bedroom of Matterhorn was amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast or dinner options either in the hotel or nearby. Has a cute bar for a quiet beer or wine. Best hotel find I've had in years. I'm coming back.

I had a really great stay at Chalet Memory. The flat is equipped with everything you could possibly need, and has a spacious terrace with a lovely view on the town. The area is quiet, and it is conveniently located for walking to the centre. Doreen was a great host throughout, and was always very responsive and helpful with any questions I had.

Great location for view of the Matterhorn. Cheap for Zermatt, we stayed in a private twin room so had own bathroom and it included breakfast. Had plant based milk and butter for breakfast. Used the microwave for dinner.

Great location - nest to main street and city center, but quiet at night. Great view from a roof top, you can have a drink and rest and enjoy the panorama of Zermatt village and Matterhorn in the same time. Great, helpful and friendly staff! We had much fun having a chat with them. Delicious breakfast! Enough to give you energy for all day hike :)

Location is as good as you can get in Zermatt. Ski bus outside, Sunnega a flat 5 minute walk. Staff were super friendly and gave us invaluable tips on where to ski when; It felt like we had a private resort in half term! Food was excellent, we ate dinner there twice and had an excellent breakfast every morning. Bathroom was superbly finished. Bedroom was comfortable and clean but not quite as luxury as the bathroom.
