Safe location in an upscale neighborhood. Gated entry that the hosts lock and unlock for you each time you come and go. Hosts are kind, hospitable, and generous! Always smiling, always asking how you're doing. Really, truly sweet people. Breakfasts are great and filling (fruit, coffee, toast, yogurt, avocados, deli meat, cheese all available each day, plus they make fried eggs for you). I spent time sitting in the back yard by the small and sparkling pool while I caught upon work -- it was lovely and cool. Everything was super clean, including the shared bathrooms. I was always able to get into the bathroom when I needed it -- no issue with it being shared, and the hosts keep it clean throughout the day. I spent seven nights there and they changed my sheets in the middle of the stay (so kind!) and offered to do my laundry as well, which was super helpful! I loved getting to chat with the hosts each day. Such sweet people.

And there’s coffee in the mornings which is always appreciated. There’s gym equipment and a pool available as well. Each bed has a lamp & charger. There’s blackout curtains and a/c. You’re buzzed in and out of the building so it feels safe. And a sweet detail I noticed is that the staff is extremely respectful with the privacy of the female dorm and won’t cross the threshold into the room while assisting you.

Super nice place in a great location. I walked all the way from the city centre, but you could also take the metro, it's around the corner. The host is so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I really appreciate all the help he offered. I stayed there twice and would totally do it again. Another thing is that the apartment is full of antique things and it feels like you are in a museum. Very unusual, and it makes it even more special.

    The private room was large and comfortable with a little balcony, it was perfect for our stay. We felt safe and secure as the hostel was quiet and incredibly clean, and situated in a cool neighbourhood. The staff were fantastic and are around 24/7 - in particularly Catalina was such a vibe, so friendly and helpful! She has such a warm energy, and it made the experience even better - we would definitely stay here again if coming back to Santiago.

    Location location location In a very pretty tree lined street. Although out of city centre getting a Uber everywhere or subway was very cheap.

    Lovely quaint little hotel in the heart of the trendy Barrio Italia. Room had all we needed and nice bathroom. Safe, hairdryer, coffee machine, minibar, private patio leasing out onto rua Marin which we found surprisingly quiet at night. Good restaurants all around- we loved Casa Luz just 200m up Rua Italia. Delicious breakfast options, friendly and very helpful staff. We would stay again.

    Nice family-run B&B with several private rooms. Location is ideal for walking around Santiago, it's a short walk from borth Sky Constanera and Cerro San Cristobal and all of the botanical gardens there. Although located near a major freeway, we found it to be quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely return.

    A very idyllic old townhouse located in the safe neighborhood, close to the metro station and the city center in general. Our host and staff were extremely friendly and helpful, open to help in any situation and accommodate special wishes. The breakfast was superb, served in the garden in a very peaceful area. The superior room was very spacious, equipped with the brand new and quiet air conditioner. Fully recommended.
