Situated in Alajuela City, 31 km from Poas National Park, Alexander b&b features recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a garden.

The double room with en-suite bathroom was perfect, simple, clean and comfortable, with access to a nice patio, and a fan was available too. The hosts are very nice people, super friendly and helpful. Ideal location close to shops and restaurants, and very close to the airport.

Gorgeous garden and exceptional service. Innkeeper Berni will regale you with Costa Rican tales between the superb breakfast and organising trips for you. If you're only in Costa Rica for a brief visit as I was, it is essential you get some help to arrange things such as tours and drivers due to the laid back way the country operates. Pura Vida Hotel is close to the airport and Berni will help you with all the critical taxi details, including getting you to your flight on time despite San Jose traffic. This is a must stay.

Offering an outdoor pool, Hotel Mango Airport is located in Alajuela, just a 2-minute drive from Juan Santamaria International Airport.

Such a beautiful place to stay super close to SJO Airport! The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the pool view is great, but my favorite part was the restaurant! After a long day of travel, it was so nice to eat dinner right there at the hotel! Our server Nelson, who took care of us for dinner and breakfast, was amazing and the food was delicious as well! Overall, great experience!

Melrost Airport Bed & Breakfast, bed and breakfast a Alajuela

Melrost Airport Bed & Breakfast is located in Alajuela, only 5 minutes’ drive from Juan Santamaría International Airport. The property provides free airport shuttle and Wi-Fi access.

The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice porch. We left before breakfast was available but were sent with a take-out bag to get us going - much appreciated. And the shuttle driver took us to the airport at 6am, through crazy traffic, to arrive with plenty of time for our international flight. Excellent place to stay, all around.
