Pura Vida Hotel is close to the airport and Berni will help you with all the critical taxi details, including getting you to your flight on time despite San Jose traffic. This is a must stay.

Such a beautiful place to stay super close to SJO Airport! The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the pool view is great, but my favorite part was the restaurant! After a long day of travel, it was so nice to eat dinner right there at the hotel! Our server Nelson, who took care of us for dinner and breakfast, was amazing and the food was delicious as well! Overall, great experience!

The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice porch. We left before breakfast was available but were sent with a take-out bag to get us going - much appreciated. And the shuttle driver took us to the airport at 6am, through crazy traffic, to arrive with plenty of time for our international flight. Excellent place to stay, all around.
