There is something very special about this place. There is so much love here. You see very quickly after arrival how much the family loves their cabins, their garden, each other, and their guests. Immediately after arrival, they welcomed me into their family. They taught me about farming, plants in the garden, how cocoa and sugar water are made. We sang Spanish songs into the evening. They were incredibly patient with my very limited Spanish vocabulary, and we always managed to find a way to understand each other. This is my ninth stop on my Costa Rica journey. Every location has used the term Pura Vide. It wasn't until this stay that I really started to understand what the feeling of "Pura Vide" was. It abounds here. Thank you for a beautiful stay. You have been an incredible gift on my Costa Rica visit.

Jorge and his family were the best hosts. Our stay in the Casita was wonderful. Everything was perfect, very clean and comfortable. I loved keeping the window opened at night and listening to the jungles sounds and howler monkeys

We liked staying at Cabinas Cascada Rio Celeste very much. The hosts were extremly friendly and helpful. Traditionals breakfasts were amazing. I would recommend Cabinas Cascada Rio Celeste for travellers who are visiting Vulcano Tenorio Park or hanging bridges park (forgot its name).

Great location... Try the Tarzan swing near the river. Food is excellent and the staff will take care of all your needs. Mini the dog is friendly and the parrot will say hola! Clean and I very much recommend.

Very friendly hosts. They have beautiful garden. Make sure to walk around their property. We were welcomed by a Toucan bird that was singing on one of the trees. We had the tastiest breakfast in Costa Rica. Room was quiet, spotless clean and bed was comfortable.

The cacao tour is very interesting, people are very nice, excellent food and magical private hot tub area. You can even dip in with a jungle view and listen to your own playlist. We planned to drive to Rio Celeste to go hiking but then we were told there are private hiking trails to a waterfall at the lodge. We opted for this hike instead and had zero regrets. We got the entire waterfall and swimming hole to ourselves and saw frogs and butterflies on the path! Breakfast was included and it was delicious. The hotel staff was great. The pool was lovely. The room was spacious and clean. They had proper recycling bins on the grounds! We had a nice private porch looking out onto the rainforest. We inquired about a night tour (to see frogs, snakes, etc.) and they recommended a guide ($US25 each). The tour was very interesting.
