It’s a small place with a nice garden, therefore it’s pretty calm. The room’s decoration looks very good. Really loved the vibe of this place and the food they serve is delicious. The owners of the place are very nice and helpful! They have two lovely dogs as well. You can book tours directly from them and they have a laundry service as well.

Encanto Lodge consists of several bungalows nestled between river, jungle and garden and is located in Drake and 4 km form the centre. Featuring tropical gardens.

The view and the place are stunning. The hosts are really kind and helpful, they will make sure you have everything you need! They will help you book tours, provide their own night tour (do this!) and lend you their canoe. Also be sure to include breakfast and dinner with your stay. They are both excellent cooks! The rooms are really tidy and clean, there is an excellent view from the rooftop patio and you can hear and see a lot of animals, especially at night.

Javier is an amazing host and an extremely knowledgeable guide. We booked the Corcovado tour with him and he found an incredible amount of animals. He also took us on a short birdwatching trip around town and we learned so much. The room was very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped (blender etc). We wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we returned again! Thank you.

Awesome, homey place to stay in Drake Bay. Room is spacious, and there are hammocks and green space outside the room. The place is small and quaint with only 5 rooms, so not too noisy (of course, there is noise from birds and insects). There is a communal kitchen to prepare basic meals and free drinking water. The hostess, Henar, helps you organize your arrival and was waiting at the beach with transport when the boat landed and can help you arrange tours or with any other questions.

Absolutely wonderful stay! I got welcomed by the very friendly and helpful owner and a baby Tucan that he rescued from the road! The location is beautifully situated in the jungle and gives you the opportunity to spot many animals around the property! Nice and spacious rooms as well. I would love to come back!
