Excellent location, facilities and atmosphere. Just 10 min walking from the town. The place is clean and has a good equiped kitchen. There is shop open 6-22 just a few step from the place. Lily is an amazing host and is incredible kind and helpful. She made us feel like at home. My girlfriend (Polish) fall in love with the vibe. The place itself exceeded our expectations. Best price-value in the area (even the breakfast is included!). If you want to have a real Costarican experience, this is the place! ¡Gracias Lily!

He's very knowledgeable about nature and local excellence, as coffee. Casa Rayo de Luna is a gorgeous stay, both in terms of accomodation and for the surrounding area. Bedroom, bathroom and common areas are always tidy and very clean. Quality of furniture is really good and the topper onto the mattress is a plus. Breakfast is superb. From the bus station in S. Elena you can reach Casa Rayo de Luna in 20 mins walk and the location is perfect if you're looking for something peaceful, surrounded by nature and by the way close to all activities in Monteverde / S. Elena. In few minutes walk you can find a great local brewery with crafts beers, good food and other local spots.

Really nice property. Large comfortable updated room. Convenient location. Pretty garden with lots of flowers and cacti. Loved sitting outside on the rocking chairs and watching the birds. Haydee was so sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and she even did our laundry.

The city centre is very close by where you can find shops and restaurants. The national parks around Santa Elena in Monte Verde all within 10-15 minutes driving by car. Nice breakfast with good coffee and very friendly hosts who can advise you on what to do in the surroundings.
