simply the best hostel I’ve ever been in my life, once there you don’t want to leave. The hostel is in a perfect position, 5 min walking from the center of Montezuma so it’s super calm and fresher at night. it’s really immersed in the jungle so you can see iguanas and monkeys from the windows but still it has very good mosquito nets. the dorms are comfy and there are enough bathrooms for all guests. The breakfast is super to start your day.

We checked in with Sonia and she was very kind and helpful. She gave us a lot of info about the whereabouts of Montezuma and we ended up following her advices on many things we did. Juan helped us with breakfast and the check out and he was also very welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The room was spacious enough and we had a nice big balcony with a hammock overlooking the garden. The pool was really pretty even though we didn't really have time to enjoy it. We had a small car, not a 4x4 and we managed to get to the property without any problem. The hotel is a 5-min drive to/from Montezuma town but the road is very steep so we recommend having a car if you wish to stay there. We were glad that we had one when you saw people walking up the hill.. We would definitely recommend for any couple or people that are looking for a nice quiet place away from the crowds!

It had a wonderful cross breeze with a window looking out towards the ocean and another facing the beach so with the multiple fans the heat/humidity was manageable without A/C. Loved the live music during the day from the restaurant next door. Within meters of the beach and all the stores/restaurants in the heart of Montezuma.
