This was one of the best stays we have ever had. Every detail was so peaceful and refreshing. Room was cozy and had everything you might need including AC. Pool and views were UNREAL GORGEOUS! All of our meals (breakfast & dinner) were exceptional quality and taste. Our host Yaan will forever be remembered!! The yoga class we attended with him was one of the most informative and resetting I have ever experienced. Also we received the best massages of our lives. The location felt very local but in a good way. We didn't have to bother with tons of other tourists. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we will be coming back. I would also note we did all the suggested excursions and had a wonderful time on all.

I was very tired when I arrived and since the hostel wasn't very busy they upgraded my room for my best comfort. I didn't even ask them, but they were so kind to offer me a bigger, quieter room at no extra costs. The next day my onward travel turned out to be more complicated than expected using public transport, but the owner was so nice to take me to a better bus stop in another town. Very helpful indeed. Great value: we've been touring Costa Rica on a budget for 3 weeks now, and this was hands-down our best accommodation (good air con, great airy kitchen, nice private bathroom, comfy bed, all super-clean), and also the cheapest. Lovely host: Marionella made us so very welcome, and she even helped us to wash and dry our clothes ! A beautiful, warm lady. Convenient location: good supermarkets (and restaurants) just 400m away. We actually delayed our planned early departure, drinking lots of Marionella's coffee, because we didn't want to leave.

Thea family were really sweet and looked after us a lot while we were there. It was mother's day during our stay (apparently a national holiday!) And they were quite inviting for us to oin them. They still cooked for us, despite celebrating. Located right next to bioluminescent algae beach which was very accessible.
