This place is absolutely beautiful. The best place we stayed in all of Costa Rica. Peke is an amazing cook and the breakfast and coffee and juice were fantastic. The dining area is beautiful. Jenna is so warm and welcoming. What a gem of a place. Rooms and grounds are lovely. The pool is wonderful. Because there are only 5 rooms, it is a really peaceful and quiet place and the pool was often empty. Easy and flat walk to the beach takes about 15 mins.

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Provided breakfast of fresh fruit, juices and baked goods. House is only a couple years old so had all modern conveniences. AC was key as we were there during the hot season. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Swimming pool is very nice. This is considered a bed & breakfast so you are sharing the house with the hosts. The view is amazing and it's very quiet. We had monkeys right in the yard for most days we were there.

The space is clean and even though the set up is fairly basic. We felt at home and comfortable. The location is close to the beach and the town and the price unbeatable!

Best sunset on the beach! The Fenix was just purchased by the new owners and they were starting some renos but our stay was really enjoyable even with the little bit of construction going on. The rooms are a good size and have small kitchens which is great. The location is awesome and you can walk to beach restaurants and the downtown area. There is also fresh fish and a small store right behind the Fenix. The outside sitting area is fantastic....so comfortable and the sunsets are absolutely awesome. New owners mentioned they were thinking of some upgrades including A/C which would be great too. We plan on going back for sure (and bringing wine....inside joke with new owners!)

Playa Carillo was our favorite beach and La Puerta Del Sol our favorite place to stay. Roberto the owner was attentive and energetic. We enjoyed a Tican breakfast every morning and bar on the property opened at 2 pm. 4 nights a week a not to be missed dinner is available and worth every penny. We hope to return.

Alicia and her family members were so friendly and helpful! They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. The rooms were cozy, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the most important - The location was perfect - close to the beach Carrillo and also close to a lot of restaurants.
