It's difficult to pick just one thing that we liked because the Hacienda San Isidro de Iltaqui was extraordinary in so many ways! We loved the hacienda's ambiance, the farm fresh food was delicious, and the hosts offered attentive, personal, old world hospitality that will bring us back. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great area around the house, a lot of animals like ducks, chicken, dogs… was realy nice, we absolut recomend this place for a great experience. Tio is the owner and a very nice guy he helps with every question. we also baked cornbread with Tio and his family and share a good time. Thanks Tio

We loved the atmosphere of the hotel, the friendly staff, the great breakfasts, and our adorable room! The hotel is in close proximity to Otavalo's traditional market, but far enough out of town to be quiet at night. Our hotel was the perfect place to come home to after our day in the market, and the staff even washed our laundry while we were away for a reasonable cost! For nature lovers, there's a beautiful waterfall just down the street from the hotel.

We loved the fireplace in the room and the hot water bottles they put in your bed at night. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the gardens. We also loved the dogs, especially Toby! We miss him!

We were welcomed by Yaro Castro and his Family warmly. The pictures online are not faked including the impressive view. The casa victoria is a great place to explore Otavalo and the region. Busses to otavalo are 0,35$ and a Taxi costs around 3$. The breakfast is delicious and it was possible to add additional meals to the booking. All meals were as good as the breakfast. Yaro even offered to drive us to the local sights such as the Peguche waterfalls, the Otavalo market and nearby lakes. The cars used for such explorations (and also a possible airport taxi) make a very well maintained impression. Despite the current lack of reviews Casa Victoria offers a secure, nice and hospitable place to explore Otavalo and its surroundings.
