Peaceful accommodation by the Nile. Perfect setting, very nice staff, excellent advice and help with trip planning. Breakfast outdoors by the Nile is the best way to start the day. Elephantine Island was the highlight of our time in Egypt. We stayed for 4 nights but 7 would have been better.

Absolutely amazing stay. The welcome and care we felt at this Nubian house was unbelievable. It's actually a small place, with just three rooms, located right in the heart of the village market. Ahmad took care of us since before we even arrived, by arranging a private car to take us to Abu Simbel at a really great price. Needless to say he continued arranging all our logistics throughout our stay, which made our trip to Aswan really smooth and hassle-free. The room itself was amazing, perfectly clean, fresh, every little detail was so well thought out. And the food (breakfast and dinner) was the best we had anywhere in Egypt. We felt so comfortable at this place, and however we turned there was a big smile and welcome from the hosts. We loved it, thank you Ahmad!
