A wonderful stay in a historic, family run chateau close to Dijon. The hosts were extremely welcoming, provided great advice for local food options. Homemade dinner was an option as well. Had excellent breakfast in the main dining room, took strolls through forests and fields of this lovely property. Just a great base for exploring Dijon and the surrounding wine region. We stayed for 4 for nights. The owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had short but pleasant chats both in the morning before our day started and in the evening when we returned. A big plus is the beautiful garden and the two lovely dogs. I myself am not a dog person (unlike my travelling companions), but I enjoyed their presence. Breakfast is very well taken care of and every morning there are small changes to note, ranging from a different kind of coffee cake to a different fresh fruit salad.  The rooms are clean and spacious enough. The owners also respect privacy and did not come to the rooms during our stay when we were present.   We will come back again with great pleasure. Thank you!

Each room at the Ame de la Terre has furnished ecological rooms set in former barns. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer and some have a private balcony.

A sweet and savoury buffet breakfast including cake, bread, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs, cheese, homemade jam, hot drinks and fruit juice is included in the price. From Sunday to Thursday, guests can also enjoy an evening meal of local cheeses and cold meats, accompanied by bread, salad and local wine, upon reservation and for an extra charge. No meals are served on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.
