The hotel was very clean, the staff were lovely and the food was very good. We had 3 rooms and they were all well equipped (including an iron and ironing board), clean and the beds were comfortable. I also like that there were locals in the bar, which to me is a good sign especially as the hotel isn’t actually in Burford. Also it states that it’s dog friendly and it really is (there were 3 in the bar at one time, 2 of which were locals with their dog) so if you’re looking to take your dog he or she will be welcomed. We noticed on our last morning that there’s a public footpath leading from the hotel garden which presumably goes into Burford. We plan to explore that on our next visit.

We stayed at the Three Horseshoes over New Year. It is in a perfect location away from the crowds of Burford, set in beautiful countryside. The pub and rooms had just been refurbished. The rooms were really cozy and the food was excellent. We visited lots of pubs in the area and this was definitely the best. The owner and her stuff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful, we would definitely love to come back.

The Location was excellent, 2 minutes walk from main high Street The king-size bed was the most comfiest, and the breakfasts were first class. The staff were lovely. We will definitely be staying here again

Beautiful little inn, very quaint. Location is spot on. Breakfast was excellent as you get to order whatever you want from the menu. The quality is very good. Staff are very friendly overall and they go all out to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Easy parking, and safe. Definitely recommend this quintessentially english inn.

the cottage was clean and comfortable. Courtyard was nice to relax and work in. friendly staff.
