Lovely spacious accommodation. We were lucky enough to get the 2 bedroom self contained 'wing' of the main house. Views over Lochinver were great. John was a lovely, friendly host. The kitchen was well equipped, the house was warm and the supplied continental breakfast was huge, plenty of choice and the fresh fruit was a nice touch. Can highly recommend Caisteal Liath house for anyone looking for something a bit more personal and comfortable than a hotel. It's also great value for money.

We wanted to experience staying in a remote Scottish location and enjoyed the rural peace and quiet. The views of the coastline and Quinag are wonderful.

Great hosts, super friendly. Accommodation was really clean, very comfortable and really well designed. All home comforts catered for and extra little touches such as homemade biscuits with the hot beverage tray in room (which included hot chocolate and Pukka tea). Homemade breakfast was delicious too. The view from our bedroom window over the sea was absolutely stunning. Such a great stay!

Walking into the calm and peaceful bedroom in the evening light. Wonderful view over the water. (room 1) Quiet lovely breakfast with the same view. Janet and Greg were great hosts and Greg charged our EV overnight when the fast chargers we had been counting on were out of order. Janet provided crockery for our supper and warmed our pies for us on the first night.
