We had a great stay at Rutland West, we came for a couple of days to escape after we got married and it was just the perfect retreat. We actually stayed in a much more expensive place the night of the wedding but we had a much better stay when we came here. We had an excellent stay at Orchard Lodge. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We arrived tired and with wet boots and jackets and everything was quickly sorted, cake and tea was on the table. Bliss. A lovely quiet room and ten hours sleep and we were fully ready to tackle another day on the trail.
