The owner (Ric) was very kind and helpful. Beautiful house, lovely rooms, very clean, felt safe, and instructions were very easy to follow. Mimi (the cat) is very gentle and sweet. She only has access to the kitchen and outside, unless you let her in to the rest of the house. Naturally, we loved her so we let her roam freely through the house (when there were no other guests around) and she even spent one of the nights with us! Honestly such a great stay and would so easily recommend and go back. For breakfast, you're a 3 minute walk from Proof Social Bakehouse (pricey but AMAZING pastries, check opening times on google maps), and 5 minutes to the bus stop to go to Abingdon or Oxford (about 15mins to get to either). The hosts were so nice and welcoming, it was a pleasure to meet them. The place was adorable, clean, peaceful and comfy, I couldn't ask for more! It was easy to go to and come back from Oxford since the bus stop was very close (line 35, two buses per hour approximately). It's also possible to walk along the river if you've got time, it's a wonderful wonderful walk when the sun is out. I recommend this place and I'd definitely go back for my next trip!

The Sandfield Guest House is lovely place and excellent to stay in Oxford. Free Wi-fi, clean and very comfortable room. In my opinion 10/10. Sandfield is located on a main road leading into Oxford, making getting into the city by bus very easy. Of course you can also walk to the centre - only 20 minutes. I stayed in the single room, which was comfortable and had a nice private bathroom accessible on the floor. Paul, the owner, is wonderful man. He welcomed me personally and explain everything to me in detail. I would recommend to my friends, and maybe I will come back here in near future:-)))
