Lovely guest house. Super friendly owners who were very thorough at the welcome & explained everything really well. Room was a fantastic size with everything you need in it. Breakfast was fresh & well cooked & just what I wanted. Fabulous shower as well!! Would highly recommend & I will be back.

Beautiful!! Love the history, loved the country location!! it is close to Cambridge, but didn’t have time to go there, so will have to come stay again! There were plenty of places to go for beautiful walks. 😍 Staff was Great and food was good! Cheers!🍺

Thorpe Guesthouse is in a small village in a perfect location for exploring the local are by foot, further if you have a car, Excellent local pub and a worthwhile village walk. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable and happy to offer suggestions to make the most of my stay, short as it was.

Felt very private and secure, I didn't feel the need to lock anything when going out. Even though the breakfast was self cooked during covid, the ingredients provided were ample and of good quality. Great kitchen facilities too.

The building itself is a barn style building which we both loved. Being in a remote location it was quite quiet although easy to get back to the main village. There is also a restaurant nearby, but we didn't use that ourselves. The bed was really comfortable and we managed to sleep through until morning which is rare for a hotel or B&B.

The help yourself breakfast was very good, toast, crumpets, cereal, muesli, yoghurts, bananas with a special extra treat of blackberries and cherries on our final breakfast morning. No porridge oats which I would have liked but not a problem at all as enough options. Comfortable and warm bedroom with enough storage for a weekend stay. Our host Laura was really helpful and kind. We will be back hopefully next year :)
