The location was scary in that there is only one lane traffic (and we met a removal van!) However it was stunning scenery, beautiful location and magnificent views of the sea/coast one way with the countryside the other way. It was very peaceful, quiet and private. Sadly it was too cold to spend much time outside, but the views were as good from our room. We had to cross the corridor to the bathroom, but it was a lovely bath we enjoyed and saw no one going to and fro. The breakfast was absolutely superb.

It’s an astounding ancient building, with a wonderful modern bedroom and facilities. But the true pleasure of Myrtle Cottage is the amazing couple who run it. They took care of us like friends from the moment they open the front door. Thanks!

In a beautifully quiet and comfortable location within own private garden, but in the centre of the village. A hearty and delicious breakfast served by the most friendly hosts who went out of their way to make our stay so wonderful. Thank you. We are returning next year. ❤️

The property is clean.. it is situated in a small village where you could definitely chill and stargaze. Sandra, the host, is so nice. She ensured that we have everything we need.. she also cooks well.

Bruce and Sheila were the best. I got lost the night we were scheduled to check in. I called them a number of times and they finally came to where I was and had me follow them back tho the house. Most gracious and helpful, going way beyond what others would do! Great host! Definitely high recommendations for them!
