Liz was incredibly nice. We arrived after a long day of travelling and immediately felt home. We got a room upgrade. Liz gave many recommendations of things to do in the area. There is an electric charging unit for an electric car.

Everything was wonderful! The property is beautifully furnished and decorated, the hostess is very warm and engaging. The location is ideally situated for a quick walk into town or a lovely walk along the river.

Breakfast offered a good selection of cold and hot items presented well Dinners were delicious with a great choice of fresh seafood Our room was cozy and comfortable and clean! The bar was friendly & we could sit outside in the sun Jilly is so efficient and helpful and she and the rest of the staff made our stay very pleasant.

Had to call the hostel on arrival and was met by the host, who showed me around everything. The kitchen upstairs was well setup and the included breakfast was great, Towels available. Our room had a very large bathroom with bathtub (barrier-free) and plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed with heating blanket. There‘s private parking behind the house. Tourist attractions (Dunnet Head, Castle of May, …) in short driving distance. The full Scottish Breakfast was excellent! There are also several alternative options (including vegetarian). We highly recommend staying at the Bank House and would love to come back anytime.
