At first we booked a Studio but were offered a free upgrade to an apartment since it was end of the season. Apartment truly was amazing and since we were working from Corfu, an amazing experience. We had some issues with the wifi on first day, but Georgios, as for the entire stay, was really helpful and responsive. If there was anything at all, we could contact him and he offered his help as with renting a car for example. The location is not that crowded, beach is meters away and the estate offers a lot of amenities. It is also perfect for families since they can have their kids on sight at all times.

A wonderful surprise! The Merchant’s House is a wonderful newly refurbished hotel in Old Perithia, a semi abandoned and quaint village full of charm. The location of the hotel is stunning, with 4-5 Greek tavernas nearby to have dinner at night. The hotel is an old building fully refurbished and very well decorated and the rooms are huge, very comfortable and super quiet at night. Special mention to the wonderful breakfast with fresh fruits and lots of local products (honey, jams, etc...). Our whole stay was absolutely perfect and Marieke and David were the best of hosts! They are always willing to give nice indications and pieces of advice. The day we left we had to check out very early in the morning and they even prepared us a great breakfast to go!The surrounding are is great for hiking (walking down the village on your own early in the morning is a MUST) and the closest beaches are barely 15 min away. Very easy to park nearby and the check in process is very smooth. I can't recommend more this hotel, we'll come back for sure!
