Eileen was the most fabulous welcoming host, always cheerful and warm! Comfortable bed with beautiful views from 2 windows. Very quiet and private room. Gorgeous garden and grounds, in a peaceful setting. After our visit to the Cliffs of Moher, she surprised us with yummy slices of fragrant raisin bread, still warm from the oven. Well-equipped kitchen for us to use. We ate at her recommended restaurant, The Field, in Gort which had delicious food. Thanks for everything, Eileen!

Charming rural location with great views and people. Rooms were very clean and the building was newly renovated. The attached pub turned into a nice community gathering spot at night with lots of drinking options on tap!

There were no other guests at the time so we had the top floor to ourselves. The Host kindly supplied Milk , tea, coffee and bread . Josephine is very welcoming, helpful and easy going. We were delighted to meet her and her husband. They gave us tips and advices to find a restaurant and to have a wonderful time by the cliffs of Moher. The room is quiet and confortable with a view on the Burren. The breakfast was perfect as well. Like others already stated: directly next to a landmark (Kilmacduagh Abbey/Monastery with round tower). The room I was in was tasteful, beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Both were really good start to the day. It's a great location and I used it as a base to see The Burren, go to the Aran Islands, visit family near Ennis, shop in Galway. Coole Park which is near Gort was a beautiful place to walk. There were lovely walks around the roads near the BnB too and I enjoyed my hour of morning walk along the stone-fenced roads usually only observed by the cows!

Gort is a small town, but has everything you need. The hotel was very clean and quiet. I loved being able to dine in the restaurant - with Covid restrictions it would have been quite a hassle finding another place for meals. Both the restaurant and the bar have very cozy outdoor areas.
