The discription given in your website was inaccurate. No phone in the room. Cupboard was dirty and damaged. Could not close the doors. Flat screen TV was1 19 inches with ‘non- working remote. There was no “WiFi” available. Bath room with cigarette smell. Had to check out early.

This is one of those place where you feel immediately at home. Allwyn and Jency are just perfect hosts and lovely people. Warm and caring with an open mind and genuinely interested. Jency home-made diners are full of love and delicious. The staff is also very welcoming and respectful. Their 5 sweet dogs are calm and gentile. I was staying in the room with the private pool, the pool is great, everything is decorated with a big eye for details, the garden is lovely and the room is just perfect with a great open air bathroom. The surroundings are lovely, located in a quiet street just a few meters away from the beach. A big plus are the bicycles, which are available for all guests. Marari is a great place to discover by bike. I booked three nights here but I decided to come back because after one month of traveling this was the place which I liked best. I highly recommend a stay at Marari Dreamz and hope to be back.

Obviously, it is not a luxury resort, but it offers excellent value for the price. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Beautiful location, just slightly out of town so the beach was lovely and quiet, but with a good cafe nearby for food (as well as the great food at Lemon Dew itself). Less than 100 rupees for a tuk tuk into or back from town. Sunil was a great host and went above and beyond to organise things for us like an amazing backwater tour in a covered canoe, tuk tuks to town, and a taxi to our next destination.LauraFamily with young children
